This week in school opinions students gave their opinion about the environment in school and the rules.
I asked some students what they think about high school and most of them said that they don’t like, and a few said that high school is great. In my opinion school can be a rough time to anyone but as you start getting to know people and seen the good things that school give us you realize that school isn’t a bad place.
Also, I asked about what people think about the dress code and some teachers said that they should let students dress like they want sometimes so they can feel free but an interesting opinion of Dr. William was “I think every student should focus in school and see that there's a different environment for each situation and that they are trying to prepare them for the future. Also, a teacher said that” girls dressing is more revealing than boys. Well if we see it in that way that’s true, some girls like to dress with revealing clothes and that’s why I think people enforce more the girls than the boys to dress properly.
“what would you change about school” well there was a lot of different answers to that question, one of them was a student who said “I think school should give us more time between the exchange of classes because sometimes we don’t get enough time to do some personal stuff or when you are at the gym they don’t give us enough time to change so when we go the class the bell has already ringed”. In my opinion that’s a good point to talk about, I feel like we do need more time to get done with our personal stuff and get to class on time.
Although the school has been getting stricter, they have good intentions on keeping the school environment much more professional than it has been. Wearing clothes that are not appropriate hurts the environment that the faculty is trying to help portrait for our future, teaching us what is appropriate and what is not.
Ansu Fati... If you’ve never heard of Barcelona’s new superstar, you can’t be forgiven until a couple of weeks ago, neither had the vast majority of the Spanish soccer club’s fans.
But the 16-years-old have been thrust into the limelight after making history on Saturday, becoming the youngest player in La Liga history to register a goal and an assist in the game.
If you are not impressed with than then you must know that he only needed seven minutes to do so in his team’s 5-2 demolition of Valencia. Just 110 seconds had elapsed when the young player scored the first goal by meeting Frenkie De Jong’s low cross with a confident right footed strike from 12 yards; five minutes later, he returned the favor by weaving his way into the box and picking out a precise pass for De Jong to convert.
Fati continued to thrill the 80,000 camp nou stadium crowd with a series of skillful thrusts down the left wing, coming close to more goals on several occasions and making it plain that this prodigious teen is poised for greatness.
Some facts about Fati is that he was born on October 30 2002 in Guinea-Bissau, and spent the first six years of his life in the African country before moving to Herrera, a tiny town in southern Spain. Ater his father Bori- a former semi-professional soccer in Guinea Bissau found work as a driver for the town’s mayor.
At first, Ansu was outshone by his elder brother Braima, who was signed by Sevilla’s academy, a very important soccer club. But Ansu joined him before long, and by 2010 his dribbling and shooting talents had attracted serious interest from Spain’s big players.
According to Bori, in a recent radio interview on RAC1, the best financial offer came from Real Madrid, but Barcelona made more effort, with then academy director Alberg Puig making a personal visit to the family’s home to state the Catalan club’s case. Barcelona also offered residency within their famed La Masia youth complex, so the Fati family headed to Barcelona.
The fact that Fati has already scored a header, a goal with his right foot and an assist with his left foot after just two hours of senior soccer is a neat indication of his all round talents, and Barca fans are eager to see a lot more of him. More immediately, though, Fati could receive the chance to shine on the international stage: the Spanish federation is reported to be rushing through the necessary paperwork to allow him to represent the country in the coming Fifa under 17 world cup, which will be the stage in Brazil in October and November.
Remember the name. Even now, Ansu Fati is becoming impossible to forget.
The newest call of duty has caused controversy in Russia, due to a mission that's being criticized for spreading “American propaganda”.
The mission that is causing this controversy is Modern Warfare’s Highway of Death, which sees players taking on a sniper operation overlooking the titular road. The game claims it earned its name after Russian forces bombed it during an invasion, killing anyone trying to escape the area.
This highway being set in the made up Middle eastern country of Urkistan, and Activision’s insistence that the story is fictional, critics have observed it is making more than passing similar to the real-world highway of death.
Officially known as Highway 80, this six-lane passage between Kuwait and Iraq was the setting of an Us-led attack during the Persian War. The coalition attacked retreating forces after a cease fire, an event later reported as a war crime.
Critics and users have accused Activision and Infinity War trying to rewrite history and decried the game as “American propaganda” and the “demonstration of Russia”.
People has been complaining a los because of the mission including several in Russian. The BBC even reports that the game was discussed in Russian TV.
This controversial mission is the reason why Sonic decided not to sell Modern Warfare through The PlayStation store in Russia.
The game has been expecting to be one of the best games of 2019 for millions of peoples that has played the saga, but this little mission made people think the game has been ruined.
The developer of Infinite War has gone to great lengths in the month running up to launch to distance the game from real world events. During an interview in August, campaign gameplay director Jacob Minkoff said: “
Are we telling a story that has anything to do with the specific governments of any countries that we’re portraying? No.”
He later reiterated that Modern Warfare does not comment on “the exact administrations and governments and events in our world today” but focuses on “thematic things.”
The backlash occurs almost exactly ten years after the controversy surrounding Call of Duty; Modern Warfare 2, which included the notorious ‘No Russian’ level that depicted and enable players to participate in a mass shooting at a Russian airport.
This mission proved to be offensive, the game was recalled from shelves in Russia. Fans hope everything gets fixed in a short sort of time since they have been waiting for the game to came out.
Last Thursday in the city of Culiacan, the capital of Sinaloa state, a battle started between the government forces and drug cartel gunmen after the Mexican military captured two sons of the drug king Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. The elder son, Ivan, was quickly freed by his men, who took power of the government forces and secured his release. Ivan then launched an all-out siege of the entire city to free his younger brother, Ovidio.
The scene could have been mistaken for Syria or Yemen. Pictures posted on social media showed burning cars with black smoke, a lot of armed gunmen blocking the roads, dead bodies in the streets, and residents looking for cover from high-caliber gunfire.
Armed with military weapons and driving custom armored vehicles, cartel henchmen targeted security forces from all Culiacan, launching more than a dozen of attacks on Mexican security forces. The captured and held hostages eight soldiers, and then they kidnaped their families. From those attacks an unknown number of prisoners escaped from a nearby prison. At least eight people was killed, and a dozen injured.
The battle took more than eight hours, in went out in the news that soldiers were in a crossfire with the cartel, some other news say that soldiers were shaking hands with gunmen of the cartel, a resident from Culiacan even poste a video that showed them shaking hands. This has been controversial, but they are trying to keep it in secret, nut the questio0n that we all have is, does the Mexican military has the power or are they dominated by the cartel?
The Mexican president says they had to release the son of drug kingpin Joaquin “el Chapo” Guzman after an intense battle between security forces and cartel gunmen as “the situation became very difficult” and many people were at risk.
The battle of Culiacan marks a turning point in the collapse of the Mexican state. There is now no doubt about who is in control of the Sinaloa.
The violence has been constant in Mexico, early in this week more than a dozen of police officers has been killed in a cartel ambush in western Mexico. A day after that 14 suspected gang members were killed by the Mexican army. Homicides in Mexico this year are about to surpass last year’s record total of more than 29,000.
In conclusion things are looking bad for Mexico in this moment but hopefully later everything is going to be solved and Mexican government take control of the situation.
Vaping has a big impact in our teenagers, they like it, but they don’t know what vaping can cause to them.
The vaping industry is booming like there’s not tomorrow, according to the internet, vaping industry is worth more than $10 billion by 2017. It says that in the United States there’s an approximate of 3,500 vaping shops in 2013 and the numbers keeps growing a lot since then.
It’s a fact that when u introduce any substance into your body that is not accustomed, there can be side effects. So, it not matters if you inhale, eat or even touch certain chemical substances, your body will show certain adverse effects.
The liquid used for vaping is not different. But hey even some of the food we normally eat can cause side effects.
E-liquids certain three major components including a vg/pg (Propylene Glycol) base, nicotine, and flavoring. These are either chemicals or substances that went through chemical processes.
Therefore, vaping will have certain side effects which can be from temporal dry mouth to serious health issues. If there’s not nicotine in the E-juice then it can also have some different type of side effects, particularly if the person had never smoked cigarettes or had any other exposure to nicotine
Although it has a long history, its surge in popularity is a relatively new thing. We are talking about e-cigs and another kind of vaporizes. Like another new habit-forming behaviors, such as internet addiction tanning dependency, this is a recent subject of research.
Vaping has caused around 42 deaths and around 2,172 people across the nation have reported lung injuries.
Most of the side effect are usually temporary and nothing but an initial reaction by the body to vapor. Overall, when your body becomes regular to it, the side effects usually disappear within a few ours or days at most.
If you switch from smoking cigarette to vaping doctors recommend keeping an eye on your health because if you notice that something is wrong with your health, then you should immediately consult your doctor to get threaten before the problem gets worse.
Vaping is now a place where teenagers are trapped in. Although, we don’t understand the long-term effects of vaping, we do know that teenagers younger than 18 years old should not be vaping at all.
A team led by a Latino, with several Latinos players and freely celebrating Latino culture, brought back the ultimate prize in baseball to the nation’s capital and President Donald Trump’s birthplace. The Washington Nationals capped a season for the Mvp with A 6-2 win over the Houston Astros inn Thursday night’s World Series of Major League Baseball Game.
There were all kinds of reasons to celebrate, such as the fact that since the Senators won it in 1924, it was the first MLB World Series title for the nation’s capital. The homestead Grays won the title of Negro World Series in 1948 as their last world series team. But the heavy Latino presence of the team made the win even sweeter for nationals' fans including journalist and author Ray Suarez.
“I think you can look at the worlds series and determine whether or not the rest of the world can send their best,” said Suarez, author of “Latino Americans: The 500-year history that formed a country” and a baseball fan. “I hope that’s it. They send their best to win the World Series.
Suares was referring to Trump’s controversial comments at the start of his presidential campaign in 2015.
When Mexico sends its people, they don’t send the best...they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re terrorists, and some are good people, I think, but I'm speaking to border guards and they’re telling us what we’re having,” Trump said.
In a recent poll, 69% of Latinos said they though Trump’s action were generally bad for Hispanics, while 19% thought they were for the better.
Two months ago, in a mostly Latino El Paso, Texas, a gunman opened fire inside Walmart, killing 22 and injuring 26. Police said the gunman told Mexicans that he wanted to kill them. Police also said that the man accused of the domestic terror attack posted a screen that spoke of a “Hispanic invasion” phrases that Trump and other politicians used about migrants crossing the border.
By contrast, the win on Wednesday night was a welcome reminder of the growing Latino presence in America’s national pastime.
“Not only is the nationals as a team a representation of what’s going on in baseball, it’s incredibly packed with Latinos, especially Dominican and Venezuelan talent,” said Suarez. In resume it was a big win for all Latinos, not only in the baseball game but they showed how their race is one of the strongest and talented.
